The launch of Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy Watch 6 series appears to be imminent, with the company expected to unveil the new smartwatches at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July, alongside the next-gen Galaxy Z Fold devices. While an official confirmation is still pending, the prices of the Watch 6 series have been leaked. This year, the series is rumored to include a Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, with no Watch Pro variant like last year.

According to leaked information from Dealabs Magazine, the prices of the Galaxy Watch 6 series in France have been revealed. The 40mm Bluetooth variant of the Watch 6 is expected to start at EUR 319.99 (approximately Rs 28,700), while the 40mm LTE variant may cost EUR 369.99 (around Rs 31,200). Compared to last year, this makes the Galaxy Watch 6 EUR 100 more expensive than the starting price of the Watch 5. The Watch 5 started at Rs 27,999 for the Bluetooth variant and went up to Rs 32,999 for the LTE variant.

The regular Watch 6 lineup may also include a 44mm variant with Bluetooth and 4G options, priced at EUR 349.99 (around Rs 31,400) and EUR 399.99 (around Rs 35,800) respectively.

On the other hand, the Watch 6 Classic is expected to come in two sizes: 43mm and 47mm. The 43mm Bluetooth and LTE editions are rumored to be priced at EUR 419.99 (around Rs 37,700) and EUR 469.99 (around Rs 42,100) respectively. The 47mm variants are expected to cost EUR 449.99 (around Rs 40,300) and EUR 499.99 (around Rs 44,800) respectively.

These price leaks come shortly after the design of the Galaxy Watch 6 series was also revealed. The Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic are expected to have a similar appearance, although the latter is rumored to feature a physical rotating bezel. Last year, Samsung removed rotating bezels from the Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro. The leaked renders also showcase the Watch 6 models in cream, silver, and black color options. Key specifications are expected to include the Exynos W930 SoC and new health features. Samsung is likely to continue its partnership with Google to enhance WearOS.

Additionally, at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2023, Samsung is anticipated to unveil the new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Both folding smartphones are expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Galaxy Flip 5 may also include a larger cover display similar to the latest Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, which is also set to launch in India around the same time.

Furthermore, Samsung may introduce the Galaxy Tab S-series at the event. The Galaxy Unpacked event is rumored to take place on July 28.
